Our Location
A rustic piece of heaven on the banks of a beautiful river, our guest house has been described as a serene, tranquil, cozy, quiet and otherworldly. Located 5 kms from Gushaini, this charming and picturesque homestay is surrounded by apple trees. The riverside becomes a private area for the guests, the bonfires provide warmth, the food organic and delicious, the hospitality we constantly try to keep impeccable. Our History
The Testimonials left by our guests speak for themselves. The fact that this is the oldest guest house in the Tirthan Valley and over the years, with the umpteen number of guests we have hosted and had the pleasure of knowing, most of them come back to stay with us repeatedly as old timers and we welcome new ones all the time is a testament to our hospitality. Those who have spent time at our humble abode think of us as family and over the years we have made many good relations and cherished memories. The Great Escape is the further extension and a recent addition to our family, run by Karan and Sampada who are carrying on the family tradition of offering homely hospitality and social service.
Our Legacy
"One has to care for the planet and look after it". That is the philosophy by which our family is known. As an active member of SAHARA or Society for Scientific Advancement of Hill & Rural Areas, Bharti worked tirelessly towards protecting the brown trout from extinction due to the development of dams, even filing and winning a case towards the cause. But as his modest persona goes, he chooses to say it was the trout which saved the trout! Their guesthouse is reminiscent and a testament to their nature, reverent and down to earth.
